This pre-season, my son’s team got a tough new training schedule — agility, endurance, and something brand new for him: a 4-drill juggling challenge. The goal isn’t to be perfect right away — it’s about setting a baseline and improving week after week.If you’ve never done these drills, you can’t expect to master them instantly. Progress is the real win.

The 4 Juggling Drills
Drill 1: Right foot → Left foot → Thigh = 1 point (3 touches)
Drill 2: Right foot → Left foot → Chest = 1 point (3 touches)
Drill 3: Right foot → Left foot → Head = 1 point (3 touches)
Drill 4: 4 small touches + 1 big touch (above head) = 1 point (5 touches)
Scoring:
You get points each time you complete a drill without dropping the ball.
If the ball hits the ground, your turn ends.
Track your points for each drill and total them up.
Baseline Week: My son’s first try ended at just 3 points in Drill 3 — but that’s the beauty of it. Now we have a starting line, and next week will be better.
