Tournament mornings aren’t calm.
If you’re looking for easy muffins for soccer tournaments that you can make ahead and grab on the way out the door, these have worked well for us.
You’re packing bags.
Looking for shin guards.
Trying to leave on time.
Having something ready that you don’t have to think about helps more than it sounds.
Nothing fancy.
Just steady.
Why These Work
Easy to grab on the way out
Not overly sweet
Filling without feeling heavy
Travel well in a cooler bag
Flexible with what you already have
Familiar food matters on game days.

¾ cup milk or yogurt (or a mix)
2 eggs
½ cup frozen berries
Optional variations
1 small grated carrot
½ grated apple + ½ cup fresh blueberries

Fold in berries or fruit.
Divide into 10–12 muffin cups.
Bake for about 15 minutes, until set and lightly golden.
Let cool before packing.
A Note on “Healthy”
Healthy doesn’t have to mean perfect.
On tournament days, simple and reliable often matters more than ideal.
If it helps your child feel steady and ready to play, it’s doing its job.
